By removing the top portion of the cutter, including the bearing and spindle, woodworkers can produce the front of the long tenon profile for blind tenons, through tenons, or bridle joints. This set enables the creation of rattle-free flat panel doors, with adjustable shims for a snug fit with plywood panels and the flexibility to use panels ranging from 5.5mm to 6.35mm in thickness. The unique cutter geometry effectively eliminates tearout, while Freud's 99-566 2 + 2 raised panel bit with backcutter ensures smooth cuts in hardwoods, softwoods, and plywoods.

Featuring Freud's Perma-Shield coating to resist heat and pitch build-up, as well as rust, and Freud's TiCo Hi-Density Carbide for maximum bit life and material finish, this set is designed for use on table-mounted portable routers. The set produces a Quarter Round profile on the rail and stile, as well as a bevel profile on the panel bit. All bits are 1/2 inch, and the set includes an attractive wooden storage box with an instructional poster.
