The result was the Dado Pro Set, which includes features such as anti-kickback design to reduce the possibility of overfeeding that can occur when cutting mass material, splinter-resistant cuts in veneer plywood, melamine, and hard and soft woods. The set also includes five chippers (4x1/8” - 1x1/8”) to keep the cut flat and free from tear out, making it ideal for underpowered saws. Shim sets are provided for cuts between 1/4" and 13/16", and the negative hook angle allows for a less aggressive and smoother cut. Additionally, the set is delivered in a sturdy reusable carrying case. The 230.012.08 8" Dado Pro set is designed for making clean edges, square shoulders, and flat bottoms with splinter-resistant cuts in all types of wood. It is perfect for underpowered saws with a 0.125 kerf thickness and 0.098 plate thickness, a -12° hook angle, and Flat Tooth + Alternate Tooth design. The anti-kickback design further reduces the risk of overfeeding, while the five chippers ensure a flat and tear-out-free cut.
