Freud 99-268: 1-7/8 Entry & Interior Door Router Bit System

The Entry & Interior Door Router Bit System features a 1-7/8" (Dia.) design for creating doors with solid mortise and tenon joints that are built to last. This matched rail and stile set arrives fully assembled, making it easy to mill perfect 1-3/4-Inch exterior doors. For 1-3/8-Inch interior doors, simply remove the spacers from each bit. The system allows for easy milling of tenons in various lengths, with an ogee profile and specifications including a 1/2-inch shank, 1-7/8-inch carbide height, and 4-1/8-inch overall length.

Key features of the system include a 7/8" bearing diameter, two cutters, easy assembly for perfect joints in both hard and soft woods, and the patented Freud system that enables milling of tenons in any length for extra strength. The system offers three sets tailored for 1-3/8" or 1-3/4" doors, as well as a Thick Stock Set for 2" to 2-1/4" doors. It is suitable for use with table-mounted portable routers and features the Freud Perma-SHIELD coating for enhanced durability.
